...but ultimately this activity on a Friday eve (July 9)....
...led to this...
Its called a "Buckle Fracture", see the bow in the bone right below her wrist? Essentially in kids as young as Anna the bone is still malleable and will simply bow out, rather than snap (thank goodness!), but its still considered a break and Anna ended up in a nice little splint over the weekend...
Followed by a waterproof pink cast (cool huh!) the following Monday...
This has not slowed our little superhero down at all. Luckily Spidergirl with arm in a cast has her handy side-kick (Buzz Lightyear) to help her defeat the bad guys.
And all the cool kids have signed her cast for posterity.
What a trooper! Happy that there won't be any major problems, but still wish that she hadn't broke anything. xoxo to you all
