We decided to squeeze in one more camping trip with the kids before the nights get too cool and the Labor Day long weekend was just the right opportunity. We headed up to West Chicago Creek Campground outside of Idaho Springs in the Colorado Mountains on Friday evening (Sep 4) and Anna and James were great helpers once again in setting up the tent with Daddy.
Once the tent was up Anna got busy collecting all the minature pinecones she could find, while James just chilled out.
We settled in for dinner once Chris had the fire going, and made sure to get in some time for toasted marshmallows and the American tradition of 'Smores, before bedtime.
