I have to admit, I'd been planning Chris' 40th Birthday for some time before the big event. With a once-in-a-lifetime date 11-11-11 to celebrate, it had to be something special!
We were lucky to have my sister Ines, and my girlfriend Lynette visiting us from Perth, Australia to help in the festivities. The morning of his birthday the ladies helped me set up for the birthday present surprise. Chris had been on to me with one of my original plans, so I was thrilled that I pulled off the new mountain bike (Yeti SB-66) surprise without a hitch! Chris' reaction was exactly what I'd hoped for!
Anna had written Chris a special book for his birthday which she was proud to show him...
