Down Under 1 - The Trip & Bondi Beach

As the kids got to travel in comfort and style courtesy of Chris' self-made car seat wheelies we departed in high sprits on December 5 local Denver time...

Admittedly the kids looked a little worse for wear during the flight, here Anna is showing off her belly while sporting the black eye she aquired from a fall at daycare just days before our departure.  Meanwhile James' rash around his mouth was in full flare.

Having survived the looooong flight across the Pacific we arrived in Syndey, Australia on December 7 to enjoy a quick visit with my Uncle Karl and Aunt Karen as a breather before we headed another flight on the 8th onward to Perth.  Karl and Karen live in a fabulous location, just a short walk from one of the most famous beaches in the world - Bondi.  This was the kids very first time at a beach and it was such a blast to watch them enjoy the water, waves and sand!
