Down Under 7 - Caversham Wildlife Park

There seem to be a gazillion photos from this day out so I apologize in advance for the photo overload, but since this is intended to be a record for our kiddos for years to come you'll just have to deal with it. Feel free to scroll down quickly :)

Caversham Wildlife Park is a Park within a Park (the wildlife park is situated within the larger Whiteman Park which has many many attractions), and we were very excited to visit with Anna and James since this is one of the few places kids as small as ours can feed the kangaroos and pet the koalas!  Ines and Mum joined us for this day out and for me this outing was one of the highlights, seeing the pure joy on the kids faces as they interacted with the animals.

On the way into the park...

Kangaroos galore!!!

Is she smooching the Roo???

Apparently the big ones took a liking to me...

Anna's lip gloss that she'd received from the Watson's was never far away.

James looking impossibly cute...

...even with a fly on his face!

Getting a ride on Daddys shoulders is apparently very distressing.

Getting up close and personal with a lizard...

...and perhaps the fattest Wombat in Australia!

A Kookaburra.

And finally, the Koalas!!!  Are they not the most adorable creatures!
